OPIF, Dune - OPIF Inc. officially launched the “1 Million Church Building Campaign” as part of its long-term plan to build typical Church buildings in the Philippines conforming to the approved design specifications and standard Fellowship branding.

During the recently concluded OPIF General Conference, different programs were presented by each Board Ministry Directors where the Church Building Campaign was unveiled and became the highlight of the conference.

Pastor Michael Benito, the current World Missions Director of the OPIF Board said during the presentation that the building is specifically designed to fit the plot plan of a land acquisition in Barangay San Felipe, Cuenca, Batangas, which is set to be the first church construction site intended for OPIF-Phil. The same architectural design shall be constructed typically in all future church building constructions among OPIF Affiliates worldwide.

“This ultra-modern design of the church contains areas that must be placed ergonomically. Accordingly, it has the Worship Area, a consecrated space where the whole congregation conducts the Divine Service, the elevated stage with built-in baptistry and as sunken receptacle which will be used for water baptism. Pastors’ office is also incorporated where meetings and other God’s businesses can be held. It also has a kitchenette and male and female toilets” Pastor Benito explained during the presentation.

Soon after the presentation was completed, conference delegates took part in giving away donations. This campaign will run all over affiliate churches to raise the funds required for the church building.
