A Vision to Prosper; Not to Fail

Life perceives colors of spectrum that becomes invisible to the human eye, because our changing world today blurs its picturesque image. Its metamorphosis commands a magnificent panorama of immense extent that blinds people little by little.

Our society today is a catalyst of both fact and myth. One can barely recognize between authentic and counterfeit.  Its flawed concept becomes the main reason why the ignorance and apathy of people to truth are still profound and these seem to be the bottom of all these contradictions.

In the landscape of the modern world and the domination of digital era, the value of human race is diminishing hastily. Electronic population almost edges the number of humans. When wants become a necessity and needs become a minority. Sustainable prosperity from political to economic are the aims of every people, especially leaders. We always look forward to life advancement. We work hard to have a better future, but did we ever have a vision to prosper spiritually? We always want what the world can offer, but did we ever ask God what He can give us? The answer is yours.

Our world today is fooled by the devil’s work of art. What lurks beyond the wall of our mental fortress is a power to deceive everyone and the fallacy of this system is the fundamental idea of the devil. The main culprit of all.

In a place where desert inhabits the scenery conceals a thousand stories. One story to be told is all about Christianity. Who would have thought that in this place, there stands a solid church of the Lord? Amazing, right? Its existence for many decades overshadows the law of man. No one can disallow the work of God. Why? God says in the Book of Matthew 16:18 “And I also say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”. A living proof that no one can stop the Good News of God. The Bible sums up the truth with a novel axiom and echoes the themes of God’s promises to mankind that “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven  given among men by which we must be saved” as written in Acts 4:12. There is nothing but the Name of Jesus. Therefore, it is the right time for all of us to turn our eyes from the portal of appealing temporary world and fix our eyes on the gates of heaven that brings us into eternity.

There are so many words to define prosperity. In the same way, there are numerous methods to prosper. One word is success and it interprets many words. Others define success as being rich and famous; working in a white-collar job in a prestigious company; having millions in their bank accounts; driving a luxurious car and living in an expensive house. But, there is nothing more successful than to be the ambassadors of God because we are all working in God’s business, and our salary is eternal life. No pay slip required because He already paid everything for us. Don’t we still consider that as being prospered? That’s how generous God is. We are chosen as one of the philanthropists of God to every lost soul likewise, an advocate of the Gospel to every mankind. We do not only reach other people, but also, we feed hungry souls through the Word of God. Take note, this is for all. When God says all; all races and all ages. Let us not forget that our nationality is not the language we speak nor the country we live in. It is not the color of our skin, whether it is black, brown or white. Our nationality is mankind. A very unique species that once threatened by extinction, but because of God’s love through Jesus, humanity is restored.

It all happened because of redemption through crucifixion of Jesus Christ. An anonymous quote says “If you put God first, you will never be the last”, needless to explain it further, because it testifies the existence of humanity especially to all who believe in Him. If we allow God to pilot the wheels of our lives, our destination will surely land to heaven. No one is poor in the presence of our Holy God. It truly substantiates what is written in 2 Corinthians 8:9 “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich yet for your sakes He became poor that ye though His poverty might be rich”. Therefore, we all prosper. When you thought true riches come from tangible things? Absolutely not. True prosperity comes from the divine presence of our Lord Jesus Christ not on the earthly things. 2 Corinthians 4:18 “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal”. Therefore, there is always more than meets the eye and beyond the horizon is a promise through eternity.

The truth behind heaven and hell is of no joke; they do exist. It’s a matter of choice which gate you want to enter. Speaking of choice, according to Wikipedia, in microeconomic theory, the opportunity cost of making a particular choice is the value of the most valuable out of those that were not taken. In other words, opportunity will require sacrifices. Same logic applies, if you want to be saved, then the right choice is very important. It also takes a lot of sacrifices. One of those sacrifices is to cease from being dressed up to Christian clichés that salvation is simply believing, nor it is merely worshipping statues or handmade gods. Make sure you get the right formula; the right way, truth and life because what causes someone to fail, is when you don’t have the right choice.  In John 14:6 “Jesus answered I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through Me”. And that concludes all. Period!

In the array of religious developments, tens if not hundreds, claim they are true religion no one claims they are not. In our conquest to salvation do not only choose but understand deeply what the bible elucidates about salvation. It is all about the truth. Nothing more; nothing less. John 8:32 “Then you will know the truth, and the truth shall set you free”. Freedom can be linked to prosperity, because life affords no greater joy than to be free from darkness and free from bondage. One way to prosper spiritually is when you have the right church. A church that teaches biblically based truth and with the right doctrine. A church that focuses on the quality of each member not on the quantity. Church that waters deeply the roots of every member to have a solid foundation of truth. A church that puts mission and vision into action. And above all, a church that is inspired by the Holy Ghost among leaders and members.

It is an integral part of being a Christian to introduce to the world what real prosperity is because this is something that the world doesn’t know more about. A vision to prosper is not only aiming the physical products but having the products of faith and dependence to Him because when you have God you have more than enough to prosper. Indeed, true prosperity is Jesus in our lives.
