As I gaze upon the beautiful horizon,
A magnificent view has caught my attention.
A sign of both new creation and evolution,
An evidence of change beyond recognition.
As it takes small steps toward its freedom,
Each stride as heavy as the tests it has won.
Its body emerges, surfacing in the light,
Stretching and flapping each wing to start its flight.
As it began to fly away and fade out of sight,
My heart was filled with an overwhelming rush of emotion.
Seeing myself and the butterfly with resemblance,
With renewed life, leading to a new existence.
The past was filled with lots of pain and regret,
Full of challenges, trials I wish to forget,
But having found Jesus Chris, my Lord and my Savior,
Through all these obstacles I saw brilliant colors.
Now, with Jesus at the center of everything I do,
Even though my wish and prayers have not yet come true,
Though tears flow more than happiness and smiles
Trust in Jesus' plans for I know that He has never left my side.
Because it is written in the Holy Scriptures
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
For Christ is the way to a new beginning, He is the way to a renewed life.
