LEADERS UPLIFT OTHERS – that is the theme of the OPIF ME General Conference 2023, which will take place tomorrow, February 17, 2023 at 9:00 AM (ME time).
The message is inspired by the letter of the apostle Paul to the Philippians recorded in Philippians 2:3-4. And this year's message will be delivered by Pastor Raymond Reyes, BOD Education Director and Board Communications Director.
Since the previous years were attended online because of the restrictions imposed by different countries due to the pandemic caused by Covid 19, tomorrow's conference is expected to be attended by our OPIF brothers and sisters from ME, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain.
It will be a one-day event divided into two parts: the first half will be devoted to the divine service with the opening prayer to be led by Pastor Allyn Gagarin, OPIF BOD Chairman, and welcome remarks by Pastor Emiliano Neric, OPIF BOD Vice Chairman.
Then a video presentation will present OPIF history, followed by the OPIF achievement reports for 2022. Immediately after that, Deputy Pastor Edmund Velarde, the NC Treasurer, will exhort the love offering. A praise and worship service by the OPIF choir - Desert Psalms - will be held afterwards. Immediately after singing, preaching will be delivered, followed by altar calling.
After that, Pastor Allyn will confer the award with Pastor Vergilio Rendo, BOD Missionary Director and NC Overseer. While Pastor Mateo Morales, BOD OYCM Director and OPIF ME S5 resident pastor, will give the closing remarks. The first half will conclude with a closing prayer to be led by Pastor Zacharias Capili, D2 Presbyter and OPIF ME S14 resident pastor.
In the second part of the event after lunch, OPIF Vision 2023 will be revealed. This will start with an opening prayer by Pastor Randy Tipon-tipon, NC OMWF Director and resident pastor of OPIF ME S11.
Then, OASIS Cares' 3-year business plan and Human Capital Strategy will be presented by Pastor Michael Sanchez, BOD Home Mission Director. The next presenter will be Pastor Raymond Reyes, who will discuss development goals. He will be followed by Pastor Mateo Morales who will present the proposal for the construction of OPIF Inc.'s headquarters.
Then Pastor Vergilio Rendon, Pastor Rolando Galang, resident pastor of OPIF Bahrain, and Pastor Rodolfo Estacio, resident pastor of OPIF Abu Dhabi, will present on OPIF church growth and strategies.
The conference will conclude with a closing prayer to be led by Sister Shierly Planas, NC OYCM Director. And Pastor Fernan Planas of OPIF ME S9 resident pastor, along with Sister Myra Ciceron, the BOD secretary, will host the conference this year.
